We are seeking a full-time UX/UI Designer to help us build novel technologies and products in the cybersecurity field and play a key role in shaping our newborn team.

We are Aurora Labs — a new R&D and innovation laboratory part of the BV Tech group. Our first project: building a cyber range, a platform where cybersecurity experts can train their skills by taking part in virtual attack and defense simulations.

About You

• You have experience in the entire process of designing web user interfaces: research on the user and business needs, prototyping (e.g. Information Architecture, wireframes, user journey, mockups), user testing, collaboration with software developers and engineers.
• You have a great experience with UX/UI design and prototyping tools and you’re a magician on Figma and also a strong understanding of interaction patterns, accessibility, and best practices for user interface design.
• You love exploring and learning, and you are excited to work on challenges that do not yet have standard solutions. You are a Manager of One, able to understand when deeper exploration is required and when it is best to change paths and try a different approach.
• You are excited about defining the UX design best practices of a new team from the ground up. Experience in creating a design system is a plus.
• You are able to conduct workshops and discussions functional to design activities (e.g., workshops to diverge/converge, gather requirements & needs).
• You have good writing skills, and you think documentation is key to empowering others to learn and be autonomous. Knowledge just doesn't spread automatically. Sharing is caring.
• You are curious about joining our new team, where you will contribute to the challenges involved in shaping our culture, processes, structure, and dynamics.
• You speak Italian and English.
